We went to Tirupati Temple in India (Tirumala Venkateswara Temple). The drive there was very long but I don’t remember much since I was asleep.

For anyone who isn’t familiar, this isn’t exactly surprising to come across this on an Indian road closer to the villages.

As my uncle said, here in America, “there are cops instead of buffaloes”

Anyway, I’ve been to Tirupati several times in my life. The last time I remember was the summer after my sophomore year in high school. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to appreciate the aesthetic portion of it though.

I saw the Bangaru Vakili very late in the night but man, it was so spectacular. Gold everywhere!

I’ve never been very religious so I don’t know much about the history of this place. I just know that there were so many dedicated people around us, so dedicated to their love of God. People actually climb up the Tirumalai. All of it. Barefoot. what.
